“We pray for the equanimity to accept those things we cannot change, the courage to change what we can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” –Twelve Step Prayer
Join us for an enriching and empowering small group experience that will support you in finding more meaning and value in your relationships, your work / vocation and your spiritual life. This is a group where you can feel safe with other men, to be open and honest about the challenges and successes in your life. This is the kind of band of brothers you wish you had always had who have your back!
This is a psycho-spiritual practice group where we experientially engage with our life issues to seek healing, clarity and freedom from the old dysfunctional patterns that we have unconsciously carried over from our family, our ultra materialistic culture and from the hyper-frenzied media world we live in today.
SOME OF THE PRACTICES WE ENGAGE WITH:
Honest and open sharing in group.
Somatic Awareness: learning to be with ourselves in the moment, being intimate.
with ourselves and our Higher Self.
Meditation: Connecting to that which is greater than the False Self.
Self Acceptance & Forgiveness of Self and Others.
Inquiring into our unconsciously held attitudes, habits of mind, emotions, and behavior,
Sub-personality work.
Critiquing of cultural and media norms. Understanding what true strength is, as opposed to the false models of hyper masculinity that try to tell us what a “real man” is.
Surrender: learning to let go of what hinders us.
